Craft Brewing Sponsorship

Craft breweries are known for supporting charitable causes (in 2014, the average craft brewery donated $3.25 per barrel sold to charitable causes [$20,664 total for the average brewery]) and we plan on meeting or exceeding that target.  Because of the way that alcohol (and sales) are regulated, we do have to adhere to certain rules and regulation (below).

Random Row Sponsorship Policy

Random Row Brewing Co. believes in giving back to the community and supporting local organizations, groups, and businesses whenever possible. Because the majority of Random Row Brewing Co.’s owners are employed by the University of Virginia and have small children, the primary beneficiary of charity events initiated by Random Row Brewing Co. will be the UVA Children’s Hospital.

We also plan to support other non-profit organizations, art and/or performance groups, and community based events and organizations, but will consider all qualifying applicants. While we would love to be able to help everyone, it is just not possible. We have assembled the following rules and guidelines to help make efficient use of your (and our) time:

Your group, organization or event must be located within the Commonwealth of Virginia.

We need all charitable donation and sponsorship requests, in writing, emailed to kevin@randomrow.com.

All requests must be made at least six weeks prior to the date of the event. Any request made with less than six weeks remaining before the event, will be declined.

We do not donate to religious or political organizations. We respect freedom of religion and political beliefs, but as a company, choose not to donate to any specific religious or political groups.

BEER DONATIONS, IN THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA, ARE ILLEGAL. If you want beer made by Random Row Brewing Co. for your event or organization, it needs to be purchased directly from our brewery (growlers, kegs).  We do not use a distributor.

Depending on the nature of the request, we may require that Random Row Brewing Co. be credited as a sponsor (e.g. logo placement on t-shirt)

Random Row Brewing Co. donates in a variety of ways; volunteering time, giving of goods (excluding beer) or wearables, and through financial support.

Random Row Brewing Co. does not sponsor professional sports teams.

Random Row Brewing Co. does not sponsor events targeted towards individuals under the legal drinking age (e.g. youth sports leagues).

Random Row Brewing Co. reserves the right to accept or deny any donation or sponsorship.
